Course Overview

This is an interactive course, with material presented on a whiteboard as well as presenting examples of our projects. Participant engineers are invited to explain their issues and we resolve them together in the class. We include SACS modelling practices based on these issues. Examples of in-service and pre-service modeling and analysis as well as pushover analysis are presented. Topics are numerous including platform design, environmental, siesmic, fatigue analysis, loadout, transportation, launch, floatation and upending, mudmat, topsides, pushover methods, corrosion and cathodic protection, boatlanding and helideck design.
